Here she is!

I wonder what she is thinking. Sometimes, Perhaps in fascicle 15- I think I know what she's talking about. A brief glimpse or a fleeting whim that perhaps we are on the same page.

Then I read fascicle 33. And I am left asking myself all over again, who were you and what are your thoughts?

Sometimes I wish she had explained herself in footnotes or in an anthology discussing her anthology.

Sometimes I am glad I don't know.

  1. I think if she had explained herself, it wouldn't be as amazing. Sometimes I have a hard time explaining why her poems are so awesome after I read them. I always feel like here's the poem, there's nothing else you need. Anything else would belittle it.

  2. I completely agree with both of you...I get so frustrated with not understanding her, but I always hear her in the back of my mind insisting that the POINT is to not understand easily. It takes work and dedication and insight to even begin to understand her, which, in my small opinion, is both frustrating and rewarding.

  3. That last post was me, by the way. Sorry for the code-name confusion. :)
